History
C W Henstock and Associates Pty Ltd was formed in 1988 as a Civil , Structural, Coastal and Maritime engineering consultancy by Mr. Colin Wayne Henstock, a prominent Maritime Engineer.
This company provided consultancy engineering services for more than 30 years from investigation of concept designs to detailed engineering services, contract documentation and supervision / inspection during construction, design of a number of bridges in Tasmania and a number of Civil projects ranging from carparks, retaining walls, seawalls, buildings and maritime structures.
The company acted as Planning and Design Consultants to several organisations for Civil Engineering activities in the field of waterfront development and recreational and tourist related facilities. The company also was Design Consultant to two major marina development companies with marina facilities in NSW and facilitated with remedial/ refurbishment and expansion works for a number of other marinas.
In 1998, Mr. P. Myooran, an NPER3 Chartered Structural and Civil Engineer joined Mr. Henstock as Engineering Design Manager. Mr. Myooran was responsible for all Civil, Maritime and Structural engineering works undertaken within the Organisation.
